Redstone Engine

The Redstone Engine is the entry-level generator.
- Average output: 0.25 EJ/t
- Produces 1 EJ every 4 ticks
- Internal buffer: 100 EJ
- Requires a redstone signal
- Heat stages progress through blue, green, orange, and red behavior
Output: 1 × Redstone Engine

Steam Engine

The Steam Engine combines fuel, water, and heat.
| Heat stage | Output |
|---|---|
| Blue | 1 EJ/t |
| Green | 3 EJ/t |
| Orange | 5 EJ/t |
Additional behavior:
- Internal EJ buffer: 1,000 EJ
- Water tank: 8,000 mB
- 1 bucket of water represents 512 EJ of generation credit
- With water available, the engine is kept below the red heat stage
- Running powered without water can allow the engine to overheat
- Turning redstone off pauses fuel consumption
Output: 1 × Steam Engine
